Cut Settings: Generally this film can be cut on the same settings as other standard adhesive vinyls. We recommend test cuts and adjusting pressure accordingly.

Cut Limitations: Due to stiffness of the film, smaller intricate cuts may be difficult to weed and have a lower tolerance for lifting from the surface after applied. We suggest rounding corners to prevent sharp corners or points from lifting.

Tunneling & Storage: StarCraft Magic Spectrum is a stiffer than 651 vinyl. Because of this, “tunneling” may occur when the material is unrolled. Tunneling is when the vinyl lifts from the release and bubbles or “tunnels” form between the layers. Don’t panic! To correct this, simply lift the film from the release liner and use a squeegee to lay the vinyl down prior to cutting. We recommend storing StarCraft Spectrum vinyl flat to prevent tunneling that would likely occur if the material was stored in a tight roll.
